What to do
- Add the “Blue” ingredients and 1⁄4 cup of the coconut yogurt into a high powered blender. Blend until smooth.
- Divide the remaining 1⁄2 cup of coconut yogurt between 2 large glasses, spreading across the bottom and up the sides of the glass. Sprinkle additional Blue Spirulina along the sides of the glass, allowing it to mix with the yogurt.
- Pour half of the Blue smoothie into one glass, the rest into another.
- In the same blender, add the “Red” ingredients, blending until smooth. Add a small amount of water to aid blending if necessary.
- Splitting between 2 glasses, pour the Red refresher over top of the Blue smoothie. Add a straw or spoon and enjoy!

Blue:
– 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
– 1.5 cups frozen pineapple
– 1 banana, frozen
– 1⁄4 ripe avocado
– 1⁄2 cup crushed ice
– 1⁄2 tsp vanilla
– 1⁄4 tsp blue spirulina
– 3⁄4 cup coconut yogurt
Red:
– 1 cup frozen strawberries
– 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
– 2 Love Beets Organic Cooked Beets
– Juice of 1⁄2 a lime
– 1⁄2 cup crushed ice
