Beet Grilled Cheese

Prep Time: 5 Minutes // Cook Time: 10 Minutes Servings: 2-3

What to do

  1. Spread 1 tbsp of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. With butter side down, top each slice with 2 slices of cheese.
  3. Layer pickled beets onto one of the slices, top off with basil and place the other slice butter side-up on top of the sandwich.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sandwich and cook until the bread is golden for about 3-4 minutes. Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. ENJOY!

What you’ll Need

4-6 slices of sourdough bread (sub with brioche or other white bread)

1 pouch Love Beets Perfectly Pickled Beets

1 handful fresh basil

4-6 tbsp organic grass-fed butter

12 slices Mozzarella Cheese (sub with Provolone, American, Cheddar, etc.)
