What to do
Regular Beet Hummus:
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Add all ingredients except olive oil to food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend to combine, then slowly stream in oil and continue blending until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
Golden Beet Hummus:
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Add all ingredients except olive oil and chickpea liquid to food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend to combine, then slowly stream in oil and continue blending until smooth and creamy.
- Add 2-3 tbsp chickpea liquid if needed for texture.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
What you’ll Need
Regular beet hummus:
1 15.oz can chickpeas
3 cloves garlic (roasted or fresh)
1 cup Love Beets Organic Cooked Beets, diced
1/3 cup tbsp tahini
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp fine kosher salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp Love Beets beet juice
Golden beet hummus:
1 15.oz can chickpeas (reserve ¼ of liquid from can)
3 cloves roasted garlic
1 package of Love Beets Honey + Vinegar Golden Beets
1/3 cup tahini
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 1/2 tsp fine kosher salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
⅛-¼ tsp cayenne pepper or a dash of sriracha
2-3 tbsp liquid from can of chickpeas
