While it may seem like you can’t glance at a screen or magazine without seeing a splashy diet or exercise regime that claims to change your life in a snap (and usually a hefty price tag!), the reality is that health and wellness are a much simpler equation than these manic ads would have you believe.

Saturate yourself in situations that are good for your mind, body, and soul every day. Here’s our go-to recipe for whole-self happiness:


Set yourself up for success by indulging in a restful night’s sleep. We’ve heard it before and you’ll hear it again: treat sleep as a fundamental right, not something you snatch a few hours of here and there. Allowing your body to rest and reset thoroughly is key to waking up rejuvenated and ready to embrace the day.

Whether you’re a dawn warrior or evening jogger, make sure you move and sweat every day. Stay curious about what your body can accomplish – remember, the moment you get bored with a workout is the moment you’ve lost your curiosity! While dragging yourself to the gym or your favorite trail after a full day’s work might seem daunting, treat each workout as something you do because you love your body, not because you hate it. Cue the endorphins!

As we all know, endorphins make you happy. Spread your happiness by giving and receiving love. Random acts of kindness like putting a quarter in a parking meter that’s about to expire will not only make someone else’s day (hello, avoided parking ticket!), but will make you feel better, too! Being kind, silly, and honest every day will make you radiate positivity and attract like-minded friends!

Spread those positive vibes by collaborating with your friends to create beautiful, vibrant meals. Experiment with flavors in the kitchen and you may discover a new favorite dish! We love to have fun with our food, and always make sure that we’re tasting mindfully by loading our plates with delicious, whole, foods from nature. Keep your body happy and healthy by drinking plenty of filtered water all day long. We like to make ours extra-fun and nutritious by infusing jugs with mint, basil, cucumber, lemon, limes – or a combination of a few!
